CIPMC, Gorakhpur has been established in the State of Uttar Pradeshas a subordinate office under Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine & Storage, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India. This Centre has made significant contribution in transferring the IPM technology with the concept of “Seeing is believing” & “Learning by doing” which is more suitable to farming community. More emphasis is given in organizing Human Resource Development Programmes related to IPM viz. Farmer Field School (FFS), Orientation Training Programme (OTP), Season Long Training Programme (SLTP) for the Farmers/Agriculture cum Horticulture Extension functionaries/Pesticide Dealers/Students/NGOs.
