The Locust Circle Office, Jalore (Rajasthan) was established in the year 2006. Previously known as LOP Jalore which was established in the year 1939.This office is about 242 Km. away from the Indo-Pak border and 140 kms away from Jodhpur.The district is bounded on the northwest by Barmer District, on the northeast by Pali District, on the southeast by Sirohi District, and by Banaskantha District of Gujarat state on the southwest. Main crops are grown in rainfed areas are Bajra, Guar (Cluster bean), Jowar, Maize, Moong, Sesamum, Moth, and in irrigated areas are Wheat, Barley, Rice, Oat, Gram, Mustard, Guar (Cluster bean), Bajra, Jowar, Maize, Moong, Til, Moth, Castor, Cotton, Sugarcane, Vegetables and Kinnow (Citrus) and Ber orchards etc.
