The locust circle office Bhuj came in to existence from May 2006, and is responsible for desert locust surveillance in district of Kutch. Bhuj is district headquarter of Kutch district.Kutch is the largest district of Gujarat district and second largest district of India,The great Rannof Kutch lies to the north and the little Rannof Kutch to the south. In the west its shores are lapped by the Arabian sea and tidal marshes and creeks here form part of the Indus delta.
